Our Staff

Briony
Owner
I’m Briony, the proud owner of WetWetWet Swim School! I started WetWetWet back in 2002 and did all the teaching myself as a one man band. We have massively grown over the years and gradually I have trained and taken on many new teachers, we now have a fantastic team, and although I occasionally teach (which I absolutely love!!), most of my time is spent managing pools and staff and making sure everything is running smoothly. It gives me great pleasure watching our swimmers grow and progress and being part of so many families lives. Some of our staff learnt to swim with us many years ago, and are now part of our teaching team! How lucky am I!

I have worked with WetWetWet for 15 wonderful years. After studying a Childhood Studies (BA Hons) I returned to work at WWW as the DSL, with many years of experience within Manchester and Brighton. Ensuring all children’s safety and wellbeing is cared for is my passion, whilst supporting their happiness and leaning skills is my joy.
When I’m not working, I love spending time with my two fluffy cat’s or walking on Brighton seafront.

Swimming Teacher
I have been teaching now for almost 14 years and to be honest, I can’t imagine ever doing anything else. My love of the water has extended to the sea, so I am furthering my career by completing the STA’s Open Water Coaching qualification as we speak! I am very excited at what the future may bring. Working as part of the Wet Wet Wet team for over ten years has given me so much confidence. I have learnt so much from the other wonderful teachers.

Alex
Swimming Teacher
Hi I’m Alex. I’ve been teaching and assisting swimming for over 14 years and am an ASA level two teacher. I enjoy teaching the different stages of swimming and seeing them progress from non swimmers to being able to swim independantly. As well as teaching swimming, I am also a full time primary school teacher teaching a mixed KS2 class.

Scarlett
Swimming Teacher
I am a student from BHASVIC and I learnt to swim with WetWetWet and have continued to swim with them for many years. This then led me to do my volunteering at WetWetWet for my DofE. This showed me how enjoyable it was to teach others and now I work mostly as a swimming assistant.
