About WetWetWet Swim School
Our history
WetWetWet SWIM SCHOOL was formed by Briony Jacobs in 2002 to provide expert swimming tuition for West Hove School during the academic day, forming part of the school curriculum. We were then requested by the head teacher to start an after school club for West Hove pupils, since then we’ve never looked back.
Where we are now
All these years later, we still feel passionate about teaching your children how to swim, and provide you with fun, safe and progressive swimming lessons that your children will be excited to return to week after week! We are flexible in approach and use varied teaching methods to suit different swimmers.
Our Values
We are constantly assessing and looking to improve our lessons so we can offer our swimmers the best service, best safe working practices and the best fun progressive swimming lessons in town!
Our Swimming Lessons
Beginner Swimming Lessons
Our group beginner lessons aim to have an assistant in the water with the children for their safety, fun and speedy progression! Teachers where possible will also be in the water with our beginner groups ensuring understanding, on the spot correction and of course lots of feed-back and enthusiasm!
Improver & Squad Groups
Our improver groups are encouraging and exciting. This level of swimmer finds our lessons very rewarding as they are making big steps each term. We provide our swimmers with small groups ensuring recognition of each swimmers effort and enjoyment out of our swimmers. We notice our swimmers progression and actively encourage our swimmers. Our squad teams are developing and include competitive yearly galas and events.
Adult Swimming Lessons
Our Adult swim groups are really friendly and welcoming, keeping you fit, healthy and happy! We cater for a range of different abilities, including those that have never swum before right up to the practicing triathlete.
Private Swimming Tuition
As well as our popular after school and weekend ‘group’ extra-curricular lessons, we also operate ‘bespoke private tuition’, taylor made to suit our swimmers individual needs. This can include social bubble swim lessons, bespoke to you and your bubble.
School Swimming Lessons
WetWetWet SWIM SCHOOL are available both as school curriculum teaching and as an after school activity, ensuring ALL children can participate in this lifesaving, fun skill. All of our lessons types adhere to government guidelines.
